Worms and bees

Wario Land 4 features a level with bees in which (for some extra coins) you can make them polinize the background flowers, which then turn into fruits and, if left for too long, start to rot with a small worm appearing from inside. This said, it's very possible that this game's hole+worm graphics are related to a scrapped implementation of this behavior.--ICEknight (talk) 17:06, 1 January 2015 (EST)

The unused fish

I'm not sure what to do about the section, as it turns out that fish is only unused in the updated version of the game (the one with full GBC support). The original release of Wario Land II actually uses it in a number of rooms (see screenshot comparision for an example) - whereas in the updated rerelease all the instances of it have been replaced by the normal fish enemy used elsewhere (both in GBC and GB mode).
