Internal material sub-page
Since the internal material was from a leak, instead of being found in the games' files, wouldn't it be more appropiate to put the info in a prerelease article? --GibHaltmann (talk) 08:58, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
Debug Mode doesn't seem accesible in the final game like the to-do suggests
The to-do section talks about a file from the 2020 Nintendo Leak which has instructions for accessing a debug screen which is (apparently) still in the final unmodified game. I've found the file and translated it to the best of my ability but the instructions don't do anything in the Japanese Rev 0 release or the EU Rev 0 release.
The instructions require a GameCube controller in Port 4 to either press and hold or repeatedly press the START button on the "Title Screen of the Top Scene" (トップシーンのタイトル画面) until text for "MODE: Scene Debug" appears in the corner. Pressing START on the title screen of the game does nothing, so the debug function has either been stubbed out, or the "Top Scene" is something else (a certain sport maybe?).
There's also instructions for another debug menu, which is accessed by spamming START on a GameCube controller in Port 4 on the sport selection screen until "MODE: System Debug" appears, but this also doesn't work on either of the versions I've tried.
If the code is still present, but disabled, the fuction would likely be in a similar place to the build date display function since the debug screens were documented about 2 months after the build date code was documented.
Any chance of this still being present in the game or has it likely been removed altogether?
