"Unused" Music

The tracks listed for the Bahram Battlehship are used in the XBox 360 HD re-release, I think. In order,

  • 0xFF000102 fades out the drums and leaves one of the synth-type drums with strings and a choir: This is used in a short transition section between mook combat sections. Jehuty is piloted through a corridor with windows looking out over space before a bit of exposition.
  • 0x01000002) starts and plays only the section of the choir and strings on repeat: This is used in a peaceful-looking room before the boss fight with AI Viola.
  • 0x01000003) starts the track without the intro and resumes normal song layout: This is used after some cutscene transitions, for if you skip enemy introduction or other very short in-engine cutscenes. I think it also gets recycled in a section of the stage where you are seeking Lloyd/Inhert in an area that doesn't play a "Vivid Transparency" variant.

Can anyone confirm if they're used on the original PS2 version? I'd look into specifics for the HD re-release but my XBox is busted and most footage isn't of that version... And I certainly don't own any of the newer special editions. The preceding unsigned comment was added by HipEkans (talk • contribs)

I do recall 0xFF000102 being used and forgot to remove it from the page. It's also likely that the others are used as well but my memory is a bit hazy. I'll remove the rest as well. Punk7890 (talk) 00:15, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
