The Henry Stickmin Collection/Changes from the Legacy Versions

This is a sub-page of The Henry Stickmin Collection.

This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
Get clips of the different animations.

When the four Flash titles (excluding Breaking the Bank) were ported to the collection, the graphics were almost effectively redone with every environment brought up to the level of detail in Completing the Mission. Since Collection is a paid game, almost every sound effect and music track ripped from a previous source was replaced. While some music tracks from Newgrounds artists remain, some were replaced by new compositions for the game.

This page won't cover changed sound effects, music, or graphics since it would be too exhaustive for the scope of this page. In addition, Breaking the Bank won't be covered since the version in Collection is effectively a remake. What will be covered, however, are changed animations, option names, and fail screen text.

Escaping the Prison

The animations of Henry closing the door after throwing a grenade, climbing into the air duct, and crawling through the air duct have all been replaced. A new animation for Henry catching the bullet and throwing it was also added.

Fail Screen Text

Option Legacy Remastered
Chase (First Timeout) Try dodging the bullets, n00b. Try dodging the bullets, n00b!

Stealing the Diamond

The Teleporter animation is slightly different; in the original, Henry slowly descended onto the roof after being teleported. In the remaster, he instead falls on his face.

Similarly, the Invisibility fail is different: the gag of Henry falling off the roof is absent in the remaster. The fail text was changed to prevent copyrights from Nintendo accordingly.

In addition, the "Lightning Quick Larcenist" fail's text no longer has a soundtrack link.

Fleeing the Complex

Fleeing the Complex is probably the closest to a port in the collection since the vast majority of its unused animatics are still present.
