You can access everything in this page by hex editing your save file. It is advised to download HxD as your hex editor, however you can use any that you are comfortable with.
- Go to offset 0x414 in your save file with your hex editor.
- Once at 0x414 you should see something like this in the text section of your hex editor: m4000. Depending on where you saved, this text will be different.
- In the text section of your hex editor, overwrite that spot with the text string f1020.
- Save your edit in your hex editor.
- Load your save file in-game then save. You will be in a blank map with Juno Navel Fortress music playing if done correctly.
- Go back to 0x414 and paste any text string in the sections listed below, then save your edits when done hex editing.
- Load the file in-game and you will appear in the map chosen.
Doing step 3 will ensure that the map you will load into loads correctly. Save files contain NPC data in the map you are in. This step overwrites them. You do not need to do this more than once if you have a save file exclusively for save editing.
Save files are commonly located in "C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\FALCOM\ed8_psv3".
