The Punisher is a tale of an angry Italian man who kills other angry Italian men. And Japanese men. And American men. And Mercenaries. And demons. And Archie.

Unused/Placeholder Videos

The data\movies\brief folder on the disc contains the briefing videos for all 16 missions in the game, but it also contains seven additional videos.

bf_apartment.bik, bf_apart.bik

Both video files have the same contents and size. It appears to be a test of the video interference effects used in the final versions.

bf_nycrack.bik

An earlier version of bf_nycrk.bik, the first stage's surveillance video. Here, the camera goes from the blocked entrance of the crack house to the basement entrance, but in the final, you see the area through two different security cameras.

bf_drgbt.bik

A slightly different duplicate of bf_drgboat.bik, the video for The Igor Baltiysky. While the video's contents are the same, the dupe is smaller and more compressed.

bf_harbor.bik

A duplicate of bf_hrb2.bik, the video for Pier 74.

bf_jungle.bik

A duplicate of bf_jngl.bik, the video for Grand Nixon Island.

bf_mansion.bik

A duplicate of bf_mans.bik, the video for the Gnucci Estate.

credits01.bik

There's a placeholder Credits video in the data\movies folder.

This video features several executions that were cut from the final version due to them being excessively violent and gory.

Hmmm...
To do:
Add the Xbox-exclusive unused videos as well as the other unused stuff from all three platforms.
