From the main menu, select Create Data, then Register. Choose the 10th slot, then enter T&ESOFT as a name. The CPU, PPU1, and PPU2 version information will now appear whenever starting or resetting the game while holding L + R. The game will also test the memory afterwards.

Additionally, holding certain button combinations and then resetting the console will make one of the following screens appear. This works for both the US and Japanese versions of the game.

Always Raining

Reset the game whilst holding A+Y and it will always be raining when you play.
