Also known as: Lá-Haut (FR), Oben (DE), Vzhůru do oblak (CZ), Вверх (RU) This game has hidden development-related text. |
The Windows Up is a low-end and more puzzle-heavy version of the Wii game of the same name that somehow manages to be even longer and more tedious than that one. Also features humorously-stiff and rushed shot-for-shot recreations of scenes from the movie.

Unused Music
JUNGLE
According to Levels.tsc, this was supposed to play in the removed TEST_JUNGLE1 level. For some reason, it's the song "Overture" from the Back to the Future soundtrack.
DOGF
According to Levels.tsc, this was supposed to play in the removed TEST_DOGFIGHT1 level.
HELLOINC
A snippet of a track from The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer, leftover from when it was used as an unlockable in the low-end version of WALL-E.
HELLORAT
A snippet of a track from Ratatouille, left over from when it was used as an unlockable in the low-end version of WALL-E.
Unused Videos
ESRB.bik
The game's ESRB rating.
old.bik
A video of a work-in-progress version of the game, showing several aspects in varying levels of development. It also uses the Back to the Future theme, for whatever reason.
01.bik
A black background with "bla" written multiple times, used as a placeholder for the opening cinematic.
locked.bik
A red lock leftover from the low-end version of WALL-E.

Removed Levels
In Levels.tsc, there are strings referencing six test stages. The files for these levels don't exist in the retail game.

Missing Videos
The file init.tsc has a list of videos intended to play every time the game boots up:
//ChoosePlayMovie PIXAR //ChoosePlayMovie BVG //ChoosePlayMovie THQ //ChoosePlayMovie HIRON //ChoosePlayMovie ASOBO //ChoosePlayMovie 01A
The first five files refer to the individual logos of the companies involved (similar to how it was at the start of the low-end version of Ratatouille), while "01A" refers to the opening cinematic. Disney Interactive Studios is listed as "BVG", referring to its pre-2007 name of Buena Vista Games, as it was internally called in Ratatouille.
The individual video files for the logos are missing, with the logos instead shown as part of the opening cinematic. Adding videos of the proper names and formats into the video folder will do nothing, suggesting that the functionality was removed.
