Super Smash Bros.
If you are here from Super Smash Bros., you can discuss about these sounds in the talk page. If not, these sounds below are from Super Smash Bros., but I'm not sure if they are unused or not, so if you have played it you can help me by discussing in the talk page. Remember that even when the sound is in the Sound Test, it is not always used.
Unused sounds
Update: This seems to be a slightly low pitched version of Samus' Grapple Beam.
Update 2: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 179.
Update: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 189.
Update: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 158.
Update: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 144.
Update: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 71, between Mario's sounds.
Resembles the Arwings' sounds in Sector Z, but they use different sound effects. According to the original name of the file (which I got from here), "Pikachu - Thunderbolt Rising", it is related with Pikachu and may be related to his Thunder or Thunder Jolt attack.
Update: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 139, between Pikachu's and Captain Falcon's sounds.
May sound to be related to the Star Rod, but it sounds more like a menu option noise.
Update: This seems to be a slightly high pitched version of the sound effect that plays when you get a Starman.
Update: Present in the Sound Test as Sound no. 157.

To do: More, I guess. |
- All instances where a game is referred by its Japanese name were changed in the North American version to its name in that region, such as Pocket Monster becoming Pokémon. Some games also had their names changed in the PAL version; the changes include:
North America | Europe |
---|---|
EarthBound | Earthbound |
StarFox64 | LYLATWARS |
Kirby Super Star | Kirby's FUN PAK |

'Super MarioBros' 'Legend of Zelda' 'StarFox64' Original Sound Composing |
'Super Mario Bros.' 'The Legend of Zelda' 'StarFox64' Original Sound Composing |
"Super Mario Bros." was missing the dot in the end, didn't had a space between "Mario" and "Bros", and "The Legend of Zelda" was missing the first word in the beginning. These errors were fixed by the localization team.
- RARE

'Super Donkey Kong' Original Sound Composing |
'Donkey Kong Country' Original Sound Composing Rendered 3-D Donkey Kong Character used with permission of Rare. |
The original version forgot some things that Rare did to the game, which were then added by the localization team. They also added a dot in the end, something that other credit boxes doesn't follow.
