Tagging Files
Please be sure to use the proper capitalization when tagging your files, e.g. "PlayStation 2", not "Playstation 2", as categories are case-sensitive. --BMF54123 (talk) 04:49, 29 June 2015 (EDT)
Hidden Files?
Hello, can you please tell me what tool can extract Ratchet & Clank PS2 ISO's? I'd like trying some modding but that shit has hidden files on his ISO and on my disc too, I searched long time but can't find the correct tool, can you help me please? Thanks Oh and btw, it's possible to replace hidden files? I know you can do it with normal files, but not sure with hidden files :P ? Oh, and also, I know demo can be extracted as ok, but how do I activate debug mode? I tried checking into game files with hex editor but didn't found anything :( Thanks! :) --Got4n (talk) 07:35, 8 August 2015 (EDT)
- Sorry dude, nothing doing. There is no "tool" to extract files from an ISO, because it is a continuous stream of seemingly unsorted data. What you need to extract individual files is to know where the pointers the game supposedly asks for reading those chunks of data actually are (there is no tangible "file") which means you'll always have to work on the ISO file itself. Another method would be knowing each WAD's header and looking for those. Since I didn't dig too much into headers (right now I'm busy decoding the texture compression) I can't currently help you. If you can't even work on that single ISO it also probably means modding is out of your reach. But the tool I'm working on will eventually extract/import textures and be capable of modding music/audio, that I promise. Just be patient.--Capelino (talk) 13:35, 8 August 2015 (EDT)

Debug Menu
How do you access the debug menu in Ratchet and Clank 1? I've been looking all over the place for a guide, but you seem to be the only one who knows.

Metal Gear
Hey, are you still interested in metal gear stuff? I've been working with a group of people on reverse engineering all of the file types, etc and saw your edits to the MGS page and thought you might be interested. Feel free to check it out and/or join the discord. http://mgsdevwiki.com Droogie (talk) 12:41, 3 May 2017 (EDT)
