Yoshi's Island DS music rips

What did you use to rip these? Its strange how distored they are. You'd be better off using a 2SF rip and foobar2000 with the 2SF Decoder plugin. --Hiccup (talk) 22:57, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

Lacking proper knowledge on how to dump music files from DS games (I've just took a look at the Finding Audio page and it just covers how to find tracks, not how to properly rip them), I've used VGMTrans to get a midi and sf2 (not to confuse with 2SF) file for each track, and then played it in VLC with said sf2 file set (though unfortunately for this task neither VGMTrans nor VLC does the task asked perfectly). I will try to use the 2SF dump you have provided to replace the tracks from the Final version (will try to do that in the day), though since no audio dump of the demo is available to my knowledge I will not be able to replace them myself, sorry. --Carbonara (talk) 15:42, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
