hi i saw your work with the unused attack down status in ttyd and i had a few questions, are you also known as ralf? also what do you know about ttyd codes and hacking? been learning about it myself--Balmz (talk) 23:02, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

Hello there! I'm not actually Ralf; I credited him for providing the code for inflicting the status. Jdaster64 helped me modify Ralf's Thunder Rage code to inflict Attack Down through damage to see its battle message and other effects not seen with the direct affliction code. As for knowledge, I'm still an amateur at hacking. --Kimimaru (talk) 13:08, 4 October 2017 (EDT)

Zelda screenshots

They have not been taken correctly, check vgmaps.com to see what they should look like. The ones you uploaded are very dark, can you fix them?--Robossnik (talk) 17:14, 17 October 2017 (EDT)

Sure thing, thanks for pointing it out! I'll get on that soon. --Kimimaru (talk) 22:37, 17 October 2017 (EDT)

Gotcha Force staff roll

I haven't found an easy way to confirm the details, so I don't want to make the edit myself, but I saw a video on nico indicating that the Japanese version has a staff roll in the Option screen (unlocked after completing the game?). No idea if that is the case with the US/EU releases, but it seems to use bgm25.adx. There was also a limited soundtrack CD released with a small artbook, and it features a track titled "Staff Roll", although I haven't been able to listen to it. Incidentally, it seems the game was reprinted several times (2007 in Japan & 2012 in Japan and US), but I have equally no idea if these reissues actually altered disc data. 7HeroesForceBattle (talk) 14:05, 27 October 2019 (EDT)

Thanks so much for looking into this! I just confirmed that the staff credits are always there in both the US and JP releases, and they do indeed use bgm25. I will remove that from the page; thanks again! --Kimimaru (talk) 14:15, 27 October 2019 (EDT)

Billy Hatcher May 2003 Prototype

Hey, I was just wondering how you were able to get the unused Pirates Island 1 music files from the May 2003 Billy demo. I just discovered the existence of a second mission in this demo and wanted to find out if there was a way to extract files from the .tgc format the demo is stored in in the demo disc. If so, would you be able to point me in the right direction? --Voll (talk) 23:13, 27 March 2021 (UTC)

I believed I used TGCToGCM to extract the tgc file. You can also use gcmdump from gctools, though I don't have experience with the latter. I hope this helps! I look forward to learning more about that second mission! --Kimimaru (talk) 00:20, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
