Where in the BCSAR can this be found? --Hiccup (talk) 08:05, 31 March 2019 (EDT) I need to look into it. considering that the instruments in the song are simple, and the song it's self isn't at all complicated, i assume that the song is sequenced. all sequenced music is stored inside the bcsar file. as such, ill look in the bcsar file as that's where it's most likely to be found. --MDHEXT (talk) 11:09, 31 March 2019 (Denver)

Please use descriptive file names that contain the game title. File names such as "1.jpg" are unacceptable, and will be flat out deleted next time. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. -Ehm (talk) 19:34, 11 April 2019 (EDT)
- 1.jpg is the original name of the file and is referred to by that name inside the eShop files, as well as all the others. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by MDHEXT (talk • contribs)
Luigi's Mansion 3DS streamed vs sequenced comparisons
Did you compare the audio with something like Audacity, or just by ear? There might be small inaudible/hard-to-hear differences. --Hiccup (talk) 12:52, 30 September 2019 (EDT)
- I didn't. I just heard it and said my thoughts. I can provide you with a copy of the midi and sound bank for each song so you can make your judgement and thoughts. There's still more unused variants of streamed music. MDHEXT 11:44, 30 September 2019 (Denver)
- Can you also tell me how you checked which streams were used? I guess by replacing the streams using Luma3DS and seeing the music changed in the relevant scenarios? --Hiccup (talk) 04:48, 3 October 2019 (EDT)
- Honestly, i'm not sure if the streams are unused or the sequences. i don't have a high enough understanding of how to use my custom firmware to check. i assumed that the streams were used because they sounded exactly like in-game. after the credits discovery, i knew that the streamed version was used and not the sequence because the sequence had differences that differentiated it from the streamed version that was much closer to how it sounded in-game. the differences could have been caused by the ripping software i used. there still is no full-proof way of ripping 3ds sequences, so it could just be that the sequence was extracted wrong. - I would appreciate that a lot. MDHEXT 12:20 P.M. (denver)
