No, the Japanese title screen isn't lighter. My capture devices just suck. Art of Fighting Anthology PS2-US Title.png

This game was released as part of the Neo Geo Online Collection series in Japan, which includes online multiplayer that was removed in international releases.

Removed Voices

All of the story-related Japanese voiceovers were removed, including the game intro, Ryo's spoken dialogue between stages, the bonus stage names, Mr. Karate's voiceover speech in his victory screen, and the ending dialogue between Ryo and Yuri. However, Robert's voiceovers between stages and in the ending were left intact. Even if you set the game's language to Japanese before starting the game, the voice samples just don't play.

The Japanese version of the game plays back all audio normally.

Removed Graphics

All bonus stages have had the Kanji displayed onscreen removed.
