This game/console's online features are no longer supported. While this game/console's online features were once accessible, they are (as of March 15, 2013) no longer officially supported and online-exclusive features may be documented as now-unseen content.

A game loosely based on the 2008 animated Disney movie of the same name.

Tak Leftovers

The folder eff has some graphics leftovers from a folder of the same name in Tak: The Great Juju Challenge. Some of these textures can also be found in the DS version of Meet the Robinsons. The names were slightly changed, despite the effects being unused this time.

Menu Graphics

Bottom.nbfc is a background relating to the cheat menu, likely intended for the bottom screen before accessing the cheat menu. There is no nbfs file for this texture, hence why it is misaligned.

Menu.nbfc is an early layout for the main menu. This menu uses the same font/layout as Enchanted. This menu is missing the "multiplayer" and "cheat" options although it does have the "DGamer" option (which is on a separate initial menu in the final version).

The internal folder "title_t" includes early banners for main menu options.

Unused Translations

To do: See if the language select and the other languages can be accessed in the North American version.

The main European version of the game contains six selectable languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch. While the North American version only contains English as a playable language, most if not all of the French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch translations are still present in the files, along with the language selection. Most traces of these translated languages were removed in the Japanese version although the language select screen is still in the files and a few translated textures remained, including:

• The top screen background during cutscenes
• the bottom screen Bolt logo during the beginning of the first cutscene
• Noise_2.ntft, a texture relating to noise
• A results screen
• The French title screen backgrounds

The Scandanavian version (which contains English, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian) removed practically all traces of French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch.

DGamer

The ROM contains a folder DGamer which has all the data for DGamer (Disney Gamer), the online game server for Disney Nintendo DS titles. To fulfill the achievements and receive rewards, a DGamer log-in is required, which is not possible as both the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and DGamer service have been retired, making online connectivity and logging in impossible and making this content inaccessible. Only a Guest Login can be used, with which multiplayer games through Wireless Connection can be played. The DGamer functionality was only available in the American version of the game.

Achievements and Rewards

In the folder GameData is a file DGamer.xml that contains the configuration data for achievements and rewards that could be obtained in or through the game during the time the server was online. This now inaccessible content consisted of honors (achievement medals), stats, and unlockables, both for DGamer’s social network service and the game itself. Interesting things of note:

• The DGamer game specific unlockables Energy Star, Energy Stick, Henchmen Hand Gear, Henchmen Mask, Henchmen Mask 3 and Blasty Gun are noted as ‘DEPRECATED’.
• Instead of Henchmen Mask 1, Henchmen Mask 2, Henchmen Mask 3 and Henchmen Mask 4 (gameid 7, 8, 9 and 10), the names were changed to Henchmen Mask 1, Henchmen Mask 2, Henchmen Mask, and Henchmen Mask 3, with the latter two later being noted as ‘DEPRECATED’.
• According to developer comments, gameid items 3, 4, 5, 9, 17, 23 and 25 were set to be backend-only unlockables. Of these, items 3, 4, 5, 9 and 25 were noted as ‘DEPRECATED’.

The models of all the unlockable in-game items are in the ROM.

Whitelist

Rather than using a blacklist, the game uses a whitelist 'WhiteList.bin.lzc' to determine the allowed words for online play. This list is several pages long and uses only the American language. There are some interesting words allowed, like 'xbox', ‘playstation’, and ‘pokemon’.
