Battle Room

End level score: 4500 (3500 in Japanese)

  • A blue gem is in the second pit with the spring man instead of a heart.
  • R2D2 is added to the pit after the flingers.
  • A firepower is in the path of one of the flingers instead of a heart.

  • Chicken spawn moved away from the edge of its platform (done to ensure it stays on the third floor, as it spawns in midair and falls toward Bomberman's location, resulting in a fall to the second floor or even ground level if manipulated properly).
  • No heart at the right end of the second floor.
The chicken only falls to the third floor on English. Also, no heart

Sky Room

  • The textures on the red pillar structures throughout the stage were updated.
  • The second set of triplets were raised into the air.
    • This change inadvertently enables an exploit where approaching the triplets as they are moving to the right causes them to fall and start moving a set distance to the right again, resulting in them moving through the wall if done correctly.
A seemingly innocuous change with devastating consequences

Extra lives are quite scarce in English; most are removed or changed
