If we had a nickel for every time the CD-i had a Christmas-themed, DVC-requiring platformer, we'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • secret1.rtf to secret9.rtf are the game's hidden bonus levels. However, the box-art only mentions eight out of the nine levels; see if one of them is unused or not.
  • There is also credits2.rtf, a copy of the credits with the developers' nicknames and an earlier game name ("The X-Mas Files", used as the disc's title in the prototype).
  • Speaking of, cover the September 25, 1995 prototype.

Cheat Mode and Level Skip

ChristmasCrisisCDi CheatMenu.png

Enter the password 25, 20, 21, 21, 20, 20 on the main menu. While there's no audiovisual indication of its activation, starting a new game will give Santa infinite lives and ammo, as well as make him invincible. These can be toggled through a now-unlocked cheat menu, which is accessed by clicking Santa's face on the main menu.

In addition, the code also activates a standalone level skip: Pausing the game and pressing Button 2 will instantly complete the level the player is in, and move on to the next one.
