Christmas Country is a festive CD-i platformer that claims to be the first on the system to have "lots of enemies".

Sure, we totally believe you.

Level Select

A level select can be activated through a series of secrets in the first level of the game.

  1. Instead of entering Santa's cabin at the start of the level, run and jump over its door to reach a small area containing a star.
  2. Head over to the brick wall at the right end and do another running jump into it. This will partially break the third brick from the bottom.
  3. Jump into the broken brick to enter a winding, invisible maze. Make your way to the top-most corridor.
  4. At the top of the maze are two "exits", one at either end of the aforementioned corridor. Enter one of them to activate the level select.

If done correctly, the game will return to the title screen. The level select is located in the Options menu; Button 1 and Button 2 will change the level, and pressing Start on the main menu will access it.

Early Title?

The internal title of the game's disc is Another X-Mas. This could be an early title, or a jab at Christmas Crisis (a different Christmas-themed CD-i platformer released the year before). Or both.
