On February 1, 2024, a design document for the Windows version of Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron was leaked. Curiously, the document was written over the design document for this game, which is proven by the amount of images and dialog pertaining to this game.

Jimmy's Lab

The lab is very bare at this stage.
- The placement of the wooden crates are different, and are missing the Neutron symbol.
- All of the cages for the creatures Jimmy collects throughout the game are missing, as well as the fish bowls.
- The giant fan is a texture.
- The barriers on the walkway have no transparency.
- The score number is in comic sans and more trasparent

- Libby was located at the main area of the park. Her appearance is also much different; her eyes are wider, her hair and skin is darker, and her talking animation is of her with her hands behind her back.

Originally, the game would've occasionally cut to scenes of Carl after he has been abducted, as to remind Jimmy of his main goal. Temporary voice clips of these are still in the final game, though the cutscenes themselves were never implemented.
