Level Select

At the title screen, press I, II, II, I, Select, I, II, I, II, Select, Select to add a level select to the configuration menu.

Regional Differences

The Japanese version was released as a standalone game. In the US, however, Gate of Thunder was available only on an untitled compilation disc (often referred to as the 4-in-1 Super CD) that was packed-in with the Turbo Duo. This bundle disc adds simple CD conversions of Bonk's Adventure, Bonk's Revenge, and Bomberman (the latter as a hidden bonus game), along with a unique selection menu introduced by Bonk. All of this was dropped for the international Virtual Console releases.
