Contents
Unused Allies
Minion Priest
A cut minion job title with a unique set of clothing. Given the Empire (Roman)-inspired attire, it's likely this minion's role would have something to do with the shrines that are featured in every town the player conquers.
Minion Dungeon Master
Cut from the base game, but remained in the game's files. It would be reimplemented with the Battle Rock DLC.
Swordfish
Cut minion mount, odd too as this is not only a completed model but has a full set of animations to be used. Likely would have been featured in the Empire Sewers and Everlight Resort levels.
Empire Citizens
Multiple cut Empire citizens both in regular and bathing attire. The latter can be seen in promotional renders.
Unused Enemies
Alpha Wolf
This boss would have been a whole event in the Battle Rock Arena much like the Empire General, Phoenix, and Satyr. Why it went unused is unclear, especially since all of the dialogue intended for the match is present in the game's files.
Phoenix
Battle Rock boss that was cut from the base game though the files remained on disk. Would be reimplemented once the Battle Rock DLC was released.
Dazzler Beetle
Cut enemy that was reused from the previous game. Was to be featured in the Wasteland levels.
Mutated Rock Giant
Cut enemy that was reused from the previous game. Was meant to be a boss battle in the Wasteland level, however its skin textures were never updated to match the Wasteland environment.
Cut Level
Everlight Harbor
A cut rebellion mission in which the Empire tourist of Everlight Resort try to flee the Overlord via ships, leading the player to defeat them via naval combat. The mission would have been centered in the cut level of Everlight Harbor, which remains in the game's files.
Oddities
Satyr Placeholder
Satyr is named in the game's files, however it reuses Skull Tribe enemies from the previous game as a placeholder. This strongly hints that Battle Rock was once meant to be included in the base game.
King Salamander Alternate Skin
An alternate unused King Salamander skin.
