This is a sub-page of Paper Mario.

These are battle formations in the data that never get called up by encountering enemies in the overworld. Using one of the following GameShark codes will modify the first enemy on the overworld you encounter into the desired formation, where XX is the first two digits and YY are the last two.

This formation is listed in the groups reserved for the Jade Jungle. However, Medi Guys and Spike Tops are located in completely different formation groups. No other Jade Jungle formation has Medi Guy or Spike Top as extra enemies, meaning this was probably from a time where these enemies were compatible, or the Medi Guy and Spike Top overwrote the original enemies for this formation.
14, 09 Hurt Plant x3 Hurt Plants are only ever found in groups of two, leaving this unused.
14, 0C Jungle Fuzzy x4 Similar to used formations consisting of two and three Jungle Fuzzies, respectively.
14, 0F M. Bush x3 Similar to used formations consisting of two and four M. Bushes, respectively.
15, 00 Putrid Piranha Similar to used formations consisting of two Putrid Piranhas, and three Putrid Piranhas and one White Magikoopa, respectively. It's worth noting that these encounters are listed with the Jade Jungle miniboss encounters, so it seems there were to be more minibosses there.

The only formation in the final game which has the Amazy Dayzee enemy in it only contains a single Amazy Dayzee with no other enemies. Nintendo probably wanted to include it in a few more battles, but considering how overpowered the enemy is, it was probably for the best that this formation was cut.

Oddities

  • For some strange reason, Tubba Blubba has two formations at 0F, 04 and 0F, 05. They seem to be identical, however.
  • The enemy formation at 23, 01 (located with the Bowser fights) crashes the game. This isn't just because of there being no enemy formation there; all nonexistent enemy formations merely softlock the game.
