Revisional Differences

After the game was first published, The Jim Henson Company sent Fulp an email requesting the game to be removed due to copyright infringement. As a result of this, the game was quickly updated to make a number of aspects less infringing.

The game was updated again in 2006.

The original title, Bloodshed in the Big Blue House, was changed to Bloodshed in the Big House that Blew. The 2006 update changed it to simply Pico VS Bear, with the font gaining a fancy outline in the process.

The Newgrounds.com link on the top of the screen was removed in the 2006 update.

Character Redesigns

Bear received the most drastic redesign, although that isn't really saying much. His fur was darkened to make him look more like a grizzly bear, he was given an Army helmet, and his name was changed to Bary. In addition, the Big Blue House was brightened a bit.

The majority of his cohorts were recolored and renamed as well, although their descriptions still namedrop various episodes of the series.

Credits

Aside from the name of the game being changed, the parody disclaimer was revised, making Fulp's distaste for The Jim Henson Company quite clear (though still calling Jim himself a genius). The music credits were updated as well.

This screen wasn't altered for the 2006 update (other than the removal of the Newgrounds logo), meaning it still refers to the game by its second name.
