Pocket Monster is a bad port of a mediocre unlicensed Genesis platformer.
Unused Graphics
A hexadecimal font.
Anti-Piracy
Yes, even an unlicensed game has anti-piracy.
If the game detects that it's running in an emulator or is a pirated copy, the animation of Ash scrolling upward in the intro will loop endlessly.
These anti-piracy measures don't exist in the Genesis version.
