So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

A Master System port of Midway's arcade classic where players control one of three monsters as they destroy buildings.

Unused FM Audio

The Mark III/Master System version of Rampage was scheduled to be released in Japan on November 5th, 1988, according to the October 1988 issue of Beep magazine. This Japanese version of the port was ultimately canceled, but the support for the YM2413 FM sound chip (which was only available in Japan as an add-on for the Mark III or built-in with the Japanese Master System models) was still kept for the overseas release.

As such, it's possible to hear the FM sound in an export Master System with a custom FM board installed, a Japanese Master System with a region adapter, or simply an emulator which includes the YM2413 chip.
