Developer Data Notes/Readme

Cacti speak Japanese.
...But what does it mean?
This game has text or audio that needs to be translated. If you are fluent with this language, please read our translation guidelines and then submit a translation!

On the root of the filesystem is a file called "00_readme.txt". Interestingly, the version and date text suggests that the game started development around 3 - 5 months after the reveal of the Nintendo 3DS at E3 2010. It contains the following:

# -*- Mode: text; tab-width: 2; c-basic-offset: 2; coding: utf-8-unix; -*-
# @version $Id: 00_readme.txt 313 2010-10-21 08:44:32Z miyoshi-masayuki@xeen.co.jp $
# @revision $Revision: 8 $
# @author $Author: miyoshi-masayuki@xeen.co.jp $
# @date $Date: 2010-09-04 16:57:36 +0900 (土, 04 9 2010) $

Regional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Redocument the regional differences

Opening Movie

The Japanese version features a special opening video with the song "Clair de Lune" by Miwa playing in the background. This was removed (and left unused) from the international versions.

Sound Effects

In the international versions, the gunshot sound effects have been muted out in order to obtain a lower rating.

Ending Credits

Hmmm...
To do:
Add comparison videos

The Japanese version's ending song is "Story" by Ai Carina Uemura. This was changed to "Je te dis au revoir" by Kahimi Karie, due to licensing issues.

Jukebox

In the Japanese version only, "Clair de Lune" and "Story" are unlocked in the jukebox after beating the game.
