So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Smashing Pumpkins Into Small Piles of Putrid Debris is what happens when a Usenet joke regarding Doom becomes real. For a game supposedly written in 48 hours, it doesn't play half-bad, even if the soundtrack is the most grating thing on Earth.

Hmmm...
To do:
"USE A HEX EDITOR TO FIND DEREK'S SECRET" and "THIS IS A SECRET: DEREK=DUMBHED". What's the context behind these?

Error Messages

Should a file be missing, the game would print a string like:

SHIT. CRED1.256 IS MISSING.

But some of the files have unique error messages if they go missing, such as:

ARGH!! FIGHT.256 IS SCREWED!!! SUCKS, DON'T IT?
HOLY HECK!!! THE ENDING PICTURE IS MISSING! oh well, I guess.
ARGH!!! VOC FILES MISSING!!!

Revisional Differences

Whereas Version 2.47 automatically boots up the game, Version 3.0 requires some parameters to get the game running.

v3.0 changed the ending from a pair of images to one of Bouapha imposed on top of various game locations.
