...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Notes: Heavy work in progress

SuperTux is an open-source Mario clone that's pretty fun.

Unused Assets

In old versions of the game, there exist three unused assets for Scores and Lives located within the data/images/status folder. This may be from 0.0.x versions of the game.

Debug Mode

Booting the game with the --developer command line parameter will allow the player to press F1 to select a number of cheats, while pressing F2 accesses the debugging options.

Unused Music Patterns

The .mod file for "Mortimer - Chipdisko" contains two unused patterns (pattern 7 and 8).

Pattern 7

This one seems to be unfinished as it sounds rather off-tune.

Pattern 8

Revisional Differences

All music before 0.2 were as .mod files and not .ogg files.
