Anti-Piracy

The game checks to see if it contains any SRAM by writing the string at 0x6516 (see Development Related Text below) to SRAM. On an original cartridge, there is no SRAM, so the write will do nothing and the game will start normally. If the write was successful because there was SRAM (likely if the game was run on a cartridge copier), the game fades in to the above warning on boot, and then hangs.

Using the Pro Action Replay (PAR) code 809909D2 will jump to this screen after the Jaleco logo.

Region Check

If the game detects that it is being played in a incorrect region console, this message will be displayed.

Animation Viewer

Start the game with Pro Action Replay (PAR) code 809E3282 or 80838A02 to access this player animation viewer.

Up and Down select the animation. B and A play the animation, Left and Right rotate the player, and L and R adjust the size of the sprite.

The Japanese version features Nobuhiro Takeda's endorsement. It was titled Takeda Nobuhiro no Super Cup Soccer (Nobuhiro Takeda's Super Cup Soccer).

Credits

Like many TOSE-developed SNES games, the Japanese version features a staff roll after completing the game. However, when the game was localized for North America, the staff roll was removed. The original staff roll was in Japanese, however, which may explain why it was stripped from the North American version.
