Math pedantry

One of an amazing four Aladdin games released for the NES and/or Famicom, only one of which was licensed and three of which were ports of the Mega Drive game. This is neither.

so one licensed + 3 MD ports + 1 SNES port = 5 games... or should that be two of which are ports of the Mega Drive game? - Andlabs 21:06, 24 January 2013 (EST)

The licensed one was a port of the Mega Drive game.
...I think. AquaBat 22:49, 24 January 2013 (EST)
You're right. It was a port of the Genesis / MD one, but it was only released in Europe and Australia. That one also got ported to Game Boy, Game Boy Color, DOS PCs and Amiga. // Foxhack 00:22, 25 January 2013 (EST)
I reworded the text to sound a bit less confusing.--MathUser 11:36, 25 January 2013 (EST)
[12:58] <andlabs> Hi. How many different Aladdins are there on the NES?
[12:59] <JP_Ronny> ;o
[12:59] <JP_Ronny> 4, by my count.
[12:59] <JP_Ronny> Assuming you count official games.
[12:59] <andlabs> yes count official stuff
[13:00] <JP_Ronny> 4 then. ;o
[13:00] <andlabs> and how are they broken up
[13:00] <andlabs> also where's the GoodNES tool download
[13:00] <JP_Ronny> The mediocre NMS port, the beyond-horrible Chengdu port, the decent Super Game port and the great SNES Hummer Team port. ;o
[13:01] <andlabs> port of what versions
[13:01] <andlabs> oh wait
[13:01] <JP_Ronny> :P
[13:01] <andlabs> thefirst three are all the Genesis version?
[13:01] <JP_Ronny> Yes.
[13:01] <andlabs> ugh the NMS port
[13:01] <andlabs> very very long unksippable copyright screens
[13:02] <JP_Ronny> The Chengdu port makes that one look like gold in comparison. XP
[13:02] <andlabs> and it doesn' work on nestopi
[13:02] <andlabs> great
[13:02] <andlabs> but yes thanks for clearing it up
