Overview of development materials. (but maybe for prerelease page as its not raw data). Also, compare the game's "Final Cut" revision.

Debug Menu

I'm not David Perry, but can I still have a wish? Please?
Freezeability off? But this old cart still locks up! :(

Press A, C, A, C, A, C, A, C, B, B, B, B on te Options screen. Programmer David Perry's face will pop up to greet you, and the debug screen will appear. Aside from the font, this screen is almost identical to the one used in the later Earthworm Jim (and its sequel), which David Perry also worked on.

Menu Item Effect
CHEAT MODE Enables invincibility.
START ON LEVEL Use A and B to select a level, then press Start to begin.
FREEZEABILITY Makes the game freeze when Start is held.
MAP VIEW MODE Use the D-Pad to move the camera around the level. It's as if Aladdin is still on that spot, as far as the enemy AI and level triggers are concerned.

Unused Music

The jingle used for winning a bonus in the bonus game lasts about 8 seconds, but only the first second of it is heard in-game (slightly more if it's the last roll of that bonus game session). The full version can be heard in the sound test, or if Freezeability is used during the bonus game.
