Is there any way to rip all Debug Map images to understand what it is? Jiterdomer 13:19, 16 October 2012 (EDT)

We need everyone to discuss on this website to find a possible way to decrypt any of the files so that I can look at it and post it in this article Jiterdomer 11:08, 12 November 2012 (EST)

Is this the hidden vehicle?

I found this video over the Battlefield Wikia, and I think it's the hidden vehicle. Skip to 4:39 to see it. TheRoflGuy (talk) 17:15, 4 December 2013 (EST)

Can you able to spawn the SUV in Multiplayer? Jiterdomer (talk) 03:26, 5 December 2013 (EST)
No for two reasons. One, though the glitch can be performed on both PC and Console singleplayer modes, I don't have the tools(or the skills) to spawn it in MP. Two, if I DO find out how to spawn it, I might get killed before I am able to spawn/get it in since the battlefield community is a little on the douchebag side. I might as well do it on an empty server, but you never know, eh?
P.S: I own the Xbox 360 Version if you find out the tools. TheRoflGuy (talk) 20:25, 5 December 2013 (EST)
After a few months of research, I found a few Youtube Videos about two hidden vehicles ranging from an enemy technical with a functioning .50 cal on the mission "Night Shift" with no sources documenting this, And an SUV(Called the Civilian SUV by the Battlefield Wikia) on the Mission "Kaffarov". I also managed to find details about the F-16 and the SU-37 Flanker-F Being cut from Battlefield 3. I also think taking a poke around Battlefield 4 and its Beta would be a good thing, as they might take out some unused content with the incoming patches. TheRoflGuy (talk) 10:56, 6 March 2014 (EST)
Are Battlefield 4's file encrypted? Because EA's priority to BF4 right now is to fix all the bugs and the netcode which virtually impossible to see leftovers from this game. Sorry for being a little off-topic here. Jiterdomer (talk) 01:41, 8 March 2014 (EST)
No idea, I don't have the PC version, and I can't find any modding tools to use on Xbox 360 discs, so it's pretty much a mystery. I may as well start the Battlefield 4 Beta page, starting with a bob and what I can recall from the Beta that wasn't in the final game. TheRoflGuy (talk) 16:21, 10 March 2014 (EDT)
Aside from Battlefield, are you going to cover Medal of Honor games including Warfighter? Sorry for off-topic here Jiterdomer (talk) 15:10, 30 April 2014 (EDT)
Probably not, seeing as I have a backlog of articles to write. That and my sister LOVES to use my major source of research, my mother's laptop(She broke mine, crazy bitch.) However, as cumbersome as it is, I can work on it on my smartphone. Which will promptly be destroyed by my sister because she loves counter-production. TheRoflGuy (talk) 05:45, 1 May 2014 (EDT)
Don't worry, I've already created a page for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and someone is trying to find contents for it, that game is made by the same dudes as Infinity Ward (Respawn perhaps?) that they kept the models the same format as Call of Duty games. They're in .bsp extension. Oh and tell your mom or sister not to break your stuff or we will not contact you here in this community. Jiterdomer (talk) 10:35, 2 May 2014 (EDT)
Fixed some Spelling Errors in the Article to spruce it up a little. --Derpycookie11 (talk) 17:30, 24 August 2014 (EDT)
Back on the topic of BF4's files being encrypted, I just got an interview with a DICE employee who worked on the weapon design for BF4 over Xbox Live (And this is confirmed). He says yes to BF4's files being encrypted. And he also helped me get the Phantom Bow as a bonus. He also said that a weapon by the name of the M-17 was scrapped early in BF4's development. So yeah. Title Screen

Since the PC Version doesn't have a title screen, can you at least rip the title screen from the console ports? Jiterdomer (talk) 11:14, 24 October 2013 (EDT)

Usually, for games without title screens, we take a screenshot of the first pre-game menu, or whatever screen has the game's title on it somewhere. --BMF54123 (talk) 12:27, 24 October 2013 (EDT)
Would this be okay for the page's title screen? The game kinda started up on its own and gave me the chance to take a screenshot. --ZeroTheEro (talk) 13:15, 30 April 2014 (EDT)
Yes, you can still use this shot as long as it isn't a Michael Bay shot. Jiterdomer (talk) 15:06, 30 April 2014 (EDT)
Done'd. --ZeroTheEro (talk) 15:34, 30 April 2014 (EDT)
Thanks man. Jiterdomer (talk) 04:25, 1 May 2014 (EDT)

Battlefield 3/4/Hardline files are fully extractable and have been for some time.

You guys might want to look at the python script here https://github.com/mitsuhiko/frostbite2-stuff I used it along with a EAXADPCM decoder to get all the sound files a while back, also for battlefield 4 there's a whole web repo by symthic forum users with mp related data and alpha comparisons here: http://bfdata.juhala.io/#$ before this was on github, it was on bfeditor.org for a while. since mid 2012-ish. (bfeditor is gone now, has been for months) --Pepper26 (talk) 14:10, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
