http://z4.invisionfree.com/ZSO/index.php?showtopic=88&view=findpost&p=742337 - Don't have the ROM here right now, tho, so I can't gather more info/take screenshots. Could someone else do that and post it here? --Xdaniel 07:37, 24 December 2010 (EST)

Uhh, sorry, you need to be logged in to view that forum... basically, I found this code some two years back, enabling most of the debug menus shown on the page here; they don't seem to be usable with any controller tho.
8016E3EC 00xx
- 00 = Nothing
- 01 = Stage information
- 02 = Player & camera positions
- 64 = Shows menu [MAIN MENU], seems unusable
- 65 = Shows menu [LIGHT EDIT], seems unusable
- 66 = Shows menu [FOG EDIT], seems unusable

Okay, got the ROM but don't have time for much research atm (Christmas), however 0x16E3E4 toggles what the debug Main Menu calls "TIMER BAR" (CPU/RSP/whatever timing bars ala Zelda, etc), 0x16E404 toggles "NO ATTRIBUTE", whatever that is, 0x16E40C toggles "G BUTTON DEBUG" (again whatever it is), 0x16E3FC toggles "NO DAMAGE". --Xdaniel 09:52, 24 December 2010 (EST)
8016E40C 0001, "G BUTTON DEBUG", is a free movement mode - hold Z on controller 1, then use the stick to move around, the A button to go up, B to go down. Normal controls still apply, tho, including laying bombs! But that's it from me now for real, might pick this up tomorrow or so unless someone else' gonna chime in instead. --Xdaniel 10:16, 24 December 2010 (EST)
