Unused Items?
Now that we have a page here, I can finally ask... A while back, I was poking through this game in YY-CHR, and found what appear to be a pair of unused items. The first one is clearly the whip upgrade from the first Castlevania, left unused as there's a completely different whip upgrade graphic, while the second looks like some sort of shield or crystal. My question is, are these actually unused, or do they appear somewhere in game that I'm not aware of? -YK 18:35, 12 September 2010 (EDT)
A very late answer... the whip upgrade graphic is used in the password system, no idea what the other icon is. --Ganon 03:55, 9 Jan 2014 (CET)
Stage List
A notes page has been created with a list made by gedowski that contains the three byte stage value set for every single room. Should the partial list on the main CV3 page be deleted, or maybe changed into a list that has the 3 values for just the very beginning of each stage? --JLukas 14:22, 14 September 2010 (EDT)
Unused Music?
I have a fanmade soundtrack which has 5 songs that were listed as Unknown. Anyone know about them?
- Castlevania III doesn't have any unused music, and apparently whoever uploaded those wasn't aware that the game has a sound test with track titles. --BMF54123 22:35, 21 March 2011 (EDT)
- I doubt the tracks were designed for the Sound Test. Unless one is the default Sound Test BGM. I'd say that unless it was used outside of the sound test, it at least deserves a mention in the article for not being used. Xnamkcor 20:14, 8 July 2012 (EDT)
- Castlevania III does not have any unused music tracks. Whoever named those MP3s is obviously very unfamiliar with the game. "Unknown Theme B" is Nightmare, and "Unknown Theme C" is Demon Seed, both of which were used in the game, and both of which can be found in the sound test, along with their respective names. There is nothing here worth adding to the article. --BMF54123 22:14, 8 July 2012 (EDT)
