US/Pal versions

From what I've googled, the US version got an update on October 14 2010 (http://wiiware.nintendolife.com/news/2010/10/cave_story_update_now_available earliest source I found) and the PAL release got released on December 10 2010, shouldn't it be more appropriate to call them "First version/Updated version"? -- cool_boy_mew 03:00, 13 november 2011 (EST)

Yes, I could swear there were 3 versions. US, US+ and PAL. I needed to know what the differences between US and US+ are, and between US+ and PAL are. Seeing as I only used the PAL version, and some sprite rips from a... different version, I can't be sure if those rips belonged to the US or US+.
