Page Restructure

Any ideas? For one, I'm not a fan of the current header structure, as it makes things a little less clear than they could be (bump them up by removing 1 {=}.) Let me know if anyone thinks of a good way to restructure the page. --Stark Nebula 20:21, 10 May 2013 (EDT)

Unused Content?

Post anything you might think is not used in GX here.

JPN & emulation

Hey. The reason I didn't put up screenshots of the Japanese version run in English mode, is I couldn't find a Dolphin option to do that. From what I can tell it only lets US/PAL games be played in JPN mode. Not the opposite of playing JPN games in US/PAL mode. Theclaw 17:27, 22 January 2013 (EST)

Regional differences

There are some regional differences that CrazyGameNerd on Youtube told me:

- The timer after you clear a story mode chapter doesn't show up in the Japanese version, only on the other versions.

- On chapter 5 you can complete the course slightly after the time limit of 40 seconds on PAL & US whereas J makes your machine explode when you surpass 40 seconds.

- In Time Trial, if you complete a course under 20 seconds on PAL & US, you will not be able to see your lap splits like you normally would. Your record won't be saved. J on the contrary behaves normally when you finish under 20 seconds (you see splits and can save the record).

"Draw" Unused Voice Clip

Are we sure this is unused? What happens if you race a ghost in Time Trial and tie it? Empyreal (talk) 23:53, 14 July 2014 (EDT)

Naegleria tied with a Staff Ghost before and lost. The game also doesn't sport any "Draw" graphics, so there aren't many opportunities left for it being used. Stark Nebula (talk) 19:24, 24 August 2014 (EDT)

Finally took the time to find the video. Here it is, and notice how the audio clip doesn't play.

Restored cut Mute City music video

A lot of beta/cut content comes solely from press materials (trailer videos, magazine coverage, etc.) that never survived to an actual ROM. The Chrono Trigger alpha is a great example; all we have on it comes from two V-Jump promo videos. So I'm restoring the cut Mute City music. Let me know if there's something in the rules against it, but this seems appropriate as it's a version of the song that was cut before release. ZeaLitY (talk) 12:12, 18 May 2016 (EDT)

Thanks, ZeaLitY. You may have already noticed that I moved this to Prerelease:F-Zero GX, but I'm dropping a note here just in case you missed it. We do cover content that was cut before release, but we do so over on the Prerelease namespace rather than in the mainspace, where we document unused content which still exists in the game image. Other than being misplaced it's absolutely within our scope, so thanks again. — Vague / Rant 12:37, 18 May 2016 (EDT)

Mine Glitch

Please see this video. When doing mine glitch, the game will display information on the screen for a brief moment, such as "NaN cam pos" and "NaN cam pers". I'm not sure but this might only happen in 2P mode... Not sure if this has been covered already, or if wiki-worthy. --Mugg1991 (talk) 11:40, 9 January 2017 (EST)

Uncensored Logos Validation

Someone (unsure who) wanted proof that the texture containing uncensored logos was used in game, so here it is. The texture is referenced in every other bottom monitor. --Stark Nebula (talk) 15:13, 6 January 2018 (EST)

About the missing F-Zero AX music in GX

Here's a discovery I made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ahlrJsQrPo

Network mode

The arcade version of F-Zero AX supports LAN play. Does any trace of this feature remain on the GX disc? The page would benefit from clarifying what's different between the official AX release, and accessing AX content through GX. Theclaw (talk) 04:40, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
