Nissan 370Z Tuned Car Obtainable Using Regular Gift Car Ticket

The Nissan 370Z Tuned Car used to be only obtainable through the GT Academy 2012 event via a special ticket for achieving all golds in its events, however I can personally say this is untrue. In my own experience playing, I have actually obtained one after using a regular Gift Car ticket obtained by clearing all normal race events in a certain series. I can't really remember the series exactly figuring it was years ago (but even then long after the 2012 event), but if I had to I'd say it was most likely the Level 17 ticket from clearing the Expert series. So, if I had to say, this and maybe all the other GT Academy cars are probably not only obtained by save modding and are just really uncommon to obtain normally.

That is the original version of the 370Z Tuned Car that was originally used in the Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial Challenge demo released around December of 2009. The car got reused again for GT Academy 2012 but has the year on the side graphics and plates of the car, otherwise it is just the same. On the car selection lists in the Secret options, there's two entries that have the exact same title, but their in-game names are different, specifically the GT Academy 2012 version of the car lacking the word "version" in its name.
So you have:
  • Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) '08 - The original version of the car from the GT5 Time Trial Challenge, obtainable via a Level 12 Ticket from winning all Professional Series events, but other users say they obtained one also via a Ticket 1000; its default color is black.
  • Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy) '08 - The variant version used for GT Academy 2012 with the side graphics and plates on the car having the competition's year on them; this one's default color is that blue pearl one.
Perhaps this should be noted in the article in the future, when I find the proper words to describe it. --Elston87 (talk) 22:10, 11 September 2017 (EDT)
