Pigman Icon
The Steam version of the game actually uses the bloodied man icon, it only uses the Pigman in Steam's game list! I looked for the actual icon but couldn't find it so it may be buried in something else. I also found that the executable has a large amount of leftover Delphi icons in its resources; stuff like mouse pointers, file saving prompts, etc. If anyone wants to take a look at that... // Foxhack 17:22, 8 March 2013 (EST)
- The game was developed with Game Maker so that's no surprise. I'll get round to decompiling it later and having a dig around, maybe post the deleted sprites and see what else is unused. --Kakarookee 23:44, 25 April 2013 (EDT)
Eurogamer Exclusive level
Turns out some of the "unused" graphics I uploaded were from a level set in a Eurogamer expo; can anyone confirm if this was a preorder bonus level or if it was merely made for an event? --Kakarookee 09:33, 14 May 2013 (EDT)
- It did debut at an event and was a pre-order bonus as a separate download, and there's gameplay here. Einstein95 09:49, 14 May 2013 (EDT)
How did you extract these sprites?
I'm curious how you were able to extract these sprites. What editor did you use? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Curlinbants (talk • contribs)
- The game was developed with an older version of Game Maker, so I ran it through a decompiler and there it all was. It's also how a few people have created their own maps --Kakarookee (talk) 03:25, 10 February 2014 (EST)
Two Hotline Miami prototypes/betas
You can download Cocaine Cowboy build (Кокаин Ковбой) that was streamed by Nigel Lowrie and Dennaton here, and Decadence Build here. These builds was leaked on reddit, but original uploader deleted it. --bleep.blop (talk) 08:11, 19 February 2017 (EST)
