Player-Related Things

About the layout of the page; Making the player-related things the first and the Pharaoh Man thing afterwards would clean this up a little, right?

Speaking of the Pharaoh Man frame, I'm not entirely certain that the frame is unused. According to the sheet at Sprites INC (http://www.sprites-inc.co.uk/files/Classic/PowerF/Boss/RecoverTheNewParts/ , second from bottom), Pharaoh Man uses that frame when using his shield thingy. I don't know that much about how that thing works, however, so I may be wrong, but still.

…Lastly, what do you make of this?:

ProtoManBlast.gif (There is one for Duo punching the ground too, but I didn't have time to animate it right now)

On Sprites INC these sprites are listed as unused, but I'm not sure what to make of it. Logically it would be the firing animation for the Supercharged Shots or whatever, But I don't know.

The Unused Damage Data

... is really disappointing. ):

I found out that every single boss in the game uses the exact same damage data. This means that, for example, Gyroman (Route 1) takes the same damage from Super Arm (6 damage) as Elecman (Route 2), Heatman (Route 1), or the Mecha Dragon (Route 3). None of the bosses have "alternate weaknesses", either, as the player's never supposed to take weapons from one route into another.

The only exception is the Wily Machine and Wily Capsule bosses which are weak to Bubble Lead (from Route 1), Slash Claw (from Route 2), and Super Arm (from Route 3), and Shadow Blade (from Route 1), Thunder Beam (from Route 2), and Air Shooter (from Route 3), respectively. This is because the same Wily Machine / Capsule bosses are fought on any route.

Ah, well. Not every discovery has to be earth-shattering, I guess...
