I'm not sure if Tengen is unlicensed publisher apart from Licensed Atari or something else, but first RBI Baseball clearly exactly some localized version of "Pro Yakyuu - Family Stadium", there are 10 teams in both games, they are the same mostly, so first RBI is clearly from Famista series (or maybe Pro Yakyuu isn't Famista, but RBI series lol). Two more Pro Yakyuu games: "Pro Yakyuu - Family Stadium '87" and "Pro Yakyuu - Family Stadium '88" are advanced versions of ""Pro Yakyuu - Family Stadium" with 12 and 14 teams respectively, different game layots and more game modes, but still the same SD baseball games with the same mechanics... Unlike this, "R.B.I. Baseball 2" and "R.B.I. Baseball 3" are completely rewritten or rewritten from scratch games with different screen layots, much more modes, screens and no more SD at all, so they may be named as "R.B.I. Baseball" series... Maybe we sould categorize all these games as "Baseball Games" instead? or just as "Namco/Tengen/ASCII/Jaleco Baseball Games"?--Cah4e3 14:47, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

Clustering all of the baseball games into one is a bad idea, as the games are all of a different origin. R.B.I. Baseball should be included into the Famista series, but its sequels should still be in a separate series. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 14:54, 21 June 2012 (EDT)
How significant is the difference between Family Stadium and RBI Baseball? - Andlabs 15:58, 21 June 2012 (EDT)
the main difference is there is no credits screen in RBI and there is no credits cheat in proyakyuu

  • CPU Meter

This corruption video shows what looks like a debug function, similar to the kind seen in many other games, in which the position of a line on the screen (I'm guessing it's made by toggling colour emphasis bits) serves as a crude CPU usage meter. (In most games, further down = more CPU time used, since it turns the line on at the current rendering position whenever it finishes the main loop. No doubt it's the same here, but it looks like the line's height varies too.) (talk) 20:56, 27 December 2015 (EST)
