Beta Enemy

Occasionally, when I would use the Infinite Stamina cheat when playing this game as a kid, a strange enemy would spawn in the place of the Snow Ghost at the beginning of the snow level. The enemy was a snowman with a white top hat and small. non-moving limbs. It had no face and had a huge black "H" on it's stomach. I figure this is some kind of beta monster that was used for testing and somehow the Stamina cheat activates it. However, the cheat doesn't always make the enemy spawn so I'm not sure if there is another factor that makes it appear. The preceding unsigned comment was added by MisterMattress (talk • contribs)

I've added it to the page, along with another surprise I came across. Thanks for the heads up! --M64m (talk) 01:36, 23 April 2015 (EDT)

Gameboy Color Version

I have previously owned a Gameboy Color version of this game, yet there is no separate page for it. Can somebody please do some research into this topic? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fatality14 (talk • contribs)

Hidden Cheats

Found some hidden cheats in this game, however I never figured out what stage they all take effect in. Here they are if anyone wants to figure them all out. These must all be activated it game. None of these cheats have any activation sound, however they do get turned on.

Hatman cheat for second level. Must be activated before the end of the first onscreen text box in the level to work.

Prerelease Footage

Starts at 3:59. Some prerelease footage of the game taken from the Alien Invaders VHS.

Here

Some notable things: Shaggy is on his own without Scooby following him. Scooby seems to be an NPC like the rest of the gang would be in the final. There's a stretching/yawning animation from Shaggy, probably an idle animation, that I don't think is used in the final game. Also, the HUD for Shaggy's stamina was different. At one point, it was similar to the final with Shaggy's facial expressions, but no life bar. In another part of the trailer, Shaggy's stamina is represented by multiple icons of his head.
