Debug Menu Leftovers

Here is all of the debug menu leftovers I found, text included. Not sure if its worth including on the main page or not (I don't know anything about this game). There is also a build date of Sep 3 2004 20:25:21 attached to it as well. Unfortunately, the main debug menu was completely gutted in the USA release.

Here is a code to access all of the debug features that were once in the main debug menu. Code is for the US version only.

L1+Start at main menu to enter a debug option.

I would definitely add it on the page. Mainly because of how it documents all of the debug options and it shows off how the debug menu was changed.. So does this mean that you can simply just acesss the movie viewer without there being a blank screen? The problem we had with the loading mech was that you couldn't properly see stuff like the message script tests, movie viewer, camp test etc.
More stuff, the PIPE option is a minigame test and the TGS test would probably run you through the demo but I assume that the code routine for it was removed.
Anyways, there is also the japanese version of this game that still has a few debug leftovers. here and here. There is also some other debug function that might be present in the japanese release still. It was seen in some pre-release footage for the game. I'm positive that you can find even more debug leftovers in the japanese version than in the patched US version.
I appreciate your work. Tyvm I haha (talk) 09:59, 23 October 2017 (EDT)
I'll leave adding that info to the main page to someone else as I am not sure where to put it and I don't want to remove existing information of another users work.
The options that have (blank) after them appear to not work anymore, and I am not fully sure why. Movie viewer does have a blank screen but it still works in this version.
I'll take more of a look at the Japanese release a bit more sometime. I've added a proper debug enable code to the page in the meantime. --Punk7890 (talk) 17:13, 23 October 2017 (EDT)
Sweet work. -I haha (talk) 14:51, 24 October 2017 (EDT)

Horrifically broken formulas.

It's probably worth a note that this game has some VERY poorly thought out formulas. Of particular note is that the US manual (Anyone have Lucifer's Call manual?) claims Luck "Affects the chances of getting the first attack", which Luck only does half as well as Agility. Checking the other formulas for oddities may be worth it. --Agiletek (talk) 09:16, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
