A few things...

First, I think the frying pan was actually intended for stage 1-1, and may have been a very late cut. It was mentioned, and shown on the stage map, in Nintendo Power's coverage of the game. Sadly, I no longer have the magazine in question, so I can't provide a scan, nor do I remember the issue number it was in.

Second, poking through the game in YY-CHR, I made a couple discoveries (image to the right). It seems that the projectile graphic for the jar of jam is actually the same as the cup of water; the image also suggests it was intended for stage 2 somewhere, as the items as displayed in YY-CHR seem to correspond to the stages they're used in.

Third, as also shown in that image, there's a... something in the stage 5 items, right next to the mothballs. No clue what that could be...

Also, though it's not in that image, the fuse is mixed in with the stage 1 items, so you were likely right on there.

Anyway, nice work on the page. Brings back memories. -YK YK-sig.png 19:49, 27 December 2011 (EST)

After some double checking, I found that the graphics for the jam and cup of water are NOT the same, save for the one at the back tip. The cup of water is actually shorter and more downward-pointing than the jam.
Other than that, I thank you kindly...And you're not the only one :D Andrew Rae 20:02, 27 December 2011 (EST)

Okay, took a closer look at your image, and am speculating that 'thing' in the stage 5 graphics could be the soap (different angle, for before picking up/during use), which would make sense since 5-1 is set in a bathroom. Remember, the graphics I posted are from the HUD set, and they're not always the same as before they're picked up (see also: Plank) Andrew Rae 20:31, 27 December 2011 (EST)
