Re: The Bob-Omb:

I played the hell out of this as a kid, and if you can run a really, really long single-player game, you'll see Bob-Ombs when you game over. I took a polaroid of this to send into the Nintendo Power high scores section, wish I still had it ː(--Zero-chan (talk) 00:58, 16 August 2014 (EDT)

I found tilemaps that use the Bob-omb and Cheep-Cheep graphics in the ROM, but I wasn't sure if/how they were actually used. Time to go digging again, I guess! --BMF54123 (talk) 22:01, 23 August 2014 (EDT)
UPDATE: If you get above a certain number of eggs, you get one of three messages (VERY GOOD, EXCELLENT, SUPER PLAYER!) and a set of four eggs that hatch into an enemy character or item. The Bob-omb and Cheep-Cheep are used, but not any of the Yoshi graphics, it seems! --BMF54123 (talk) 22:49, 23 August 2014 (EDT)
