Unused Areas

The fourth level begins with the player in front of the first shop (with the red awning) shown below. However, ripping the level data with a tool like Maptapper shows there is more to the left of the level that can never be seen, including a large pillar and an escalator. It's not clear why this was cut - possibly as it would need sprite priority effects to make sense that wouldn't be used in the rest of the game otherwise. The tiles used here that go unseen are unique and not found in any other part of the game.
