Kabuki from Tengai Makyou II: Manjimaru, was so popular that he got to star at his own spin-off. With more emphasis on comedy and a much more streamlined yet rich adventure, it was one of the best titles (along its predecessor, one of the all-time best RPGs) on the PC-Engine, with many animated sequences pushing the hardware to its limits.
Debug Room
This requires having a save just before the final boss. After the ending scenes and the credits are over, a screen with a big white "END" kanji over curtains should appear. Press Button I and you should hear a sound.
Reload the save file, and go to the room with three treasure chests. The north-east corner has now an invisible hole leading to the Dharma Cat Hall: It is a Debug Room of sorts where you can check all the music tracks, cinemas, and minigames.
