0002
Actor | Object | Variable |
---|---|---|
009F | 00E6 | 0002 |
Variable 0002 is a white-clad Gerudo warrior that appears in Ocarina of Time. She has a different hairstyle from the Gerudo Lieutenant in Majora's Mask.
En_Owl
This actor contains the owl.
0080
Actor | Object | Variable |
---|---|---|
00AF | 00FD | 0080 |
Variable 0080 is a version of the owl whose behavior calls to mind Kaepora Gaebora's famous query in Ocarina of Time:
"Would you like to hear what I said again?"
Originally, the owl would have initiated conversation (text ID 07D0), talked for a bit (07D1), then prompted the player to answer a yes or no question (07D2). If the player selected "Yes", he would have repeated his dialogue. If the player selected "No", he would have displayed a parting message (07D3) and flown off.
However, the messages once tied to this variable were overwritten with monkey dialogue, and the Yes/No option was deleted entirely. The video on the right shows the conversation taking place in-game, with the Yes/No option hacked back in.
Text ID | Message | Notes |
---|---|---|
07D0 | You have strange powers, no? Me been watching you! |
Beginning of conversation. |
07D1 | Lately, this swamp, filled with poison water. Temple above waterfall strange... Brother go to temple. But brother no able to find temple entrance. Temple for Deku only. Brother captured by Deku. Now in palace. |
Continuation of conversation. |
07D2 | Help! | This message replaced the owl's Yes/No question. |
07D3 | Was my brother all right? | End of conversation. |
The fact that these text IDs are unique to Majora's Mask suggests that this behaviour was intended for the owl's Terminan incarnation, and is not simply leftover code from Ocarina of Time. Additionally, the fact that the text IDs are positioned near other Southern Swamp-related messages suggests that there is where it would have been utilized.
En_Ani
This actor contains the Part-Timer.

Variable 0000 loads a stationary version of the Part-Timer who cannot be interacted with. He has an abnormally-large collision box, and this is as close as Link can get to him.
This is different from the Part-Timer that sits behind the counter at the Trading Post, who is loaded by a different actor (En_Ossan) and different from the only used variable, 0001, which is the Part-Timer trying to steal rupees from a tree in Termina Field.
En_Syateki_Man

The object for Child Zelda contains a silver flute. It is the same flute model used by Skull Kid in Ocarina of Time. It is found in the same position as the Ocarina of Time, which suggests that Zelda would have used a flute instead of an ocarina.
Indeed, her model even has unused animations for playing a flute, which are different from the animations she uses to play the Ocarina of Time. She plays the flute with her left hand, while she uses her right hand to play the ocarina. The relevant animation offsets can be found below:
- 010334 - Zelda raises her hands to play the flute.
- 0105c8 - Zelda finishes playing the flute.
- 010d50 - Zelda plays the flute.

A mask bearing the features of Child Link can be found within Skullkid's object. There are three copies, each rotated differently, for use in different scenarios. There are also three corresponding models of Majora's Mask, rotated in the same manner. This suggests that Skullkid originally wore this mask.

Crack in the wall
A cracked wall decal can be found in some cutscenes of Romani Ranch, this works just like a soft soil spread everywhere. It appeared in a pre-release image.
