Hello, and welcome to my page! I mainly play FPS, tycoon & simulator games, and like to look for their unused content.

Notes about MCF games

  • The first five games, Huntsville, Prime Suspects, Ravenhearst, Madame Fate, and Return to Ravenhearst share an engine. Files are compressed; graphics, text, and code are currently inaccessible.
    • Files are stored in .CXT, which is a protected Adobe Director file; surely there's something out there that can extract them. (I need to look into this)
  • Dire Grove, 13th Skull, Escape from Ravenhearst, and Shadow Lake share an engine. Files are uncompressed; graphics and text can be viewed, but no code.
    • Text files are .XML, graphics are .SWF, some of which can be viewed with Ruffle.
  • Fate's Carnival and Dire Grove, Sacred Grove share an engine, which is presumably Elephant Game's own engine. Graphics and text can be viewed, along with code.
    • Text files are .XML, graphics are .PNG (and rarely .JPEG).
  • Any games made by Eipix (like Key to Ravenhearst, Broken Hour, Moths to a Flame) or GrandMa (like The Last Resort or The Dalimar Legacy) have similar engines; graphics, text and code are inaccessible.
  • I have no idea what any of the stuff in the spinoff games are like (think MillionHeir or The Malgrave Incident).
    • There is an QuickBMS script out there for The Malgrave Incident files, but I haven't tried it yet.
