To do: Fill in the gaps...also maybe rewrite it so that it's not just a literal c/p of TWEWY wiki lol |
The World Ends With You has a very extensive debug menu in all versions of the DS game, although there are differences between regions.
To access the menu, enter the appropriate Action Replay code below. In the US and European versions, you must have the phone menu unlocked in order to access the room; after enabling the code, hold Select any time you are opening the phone menu (for example, pressing Start + Select while in the overworld). In the Japanese version, you can simply press Select at any time you are in the overworld or in a normal text cutscene.

Named Named after menu programmer Masamitsu Takami. Named after menu programmer Atsushi Fukuda.
Kit Menu Contains the more "typical" debug menu options. This includes text viewers, cutscenes viewers, and event jumping, a sound test, and overworld information |
Fur Menu Debug options related to combat, including a very in-depth battle debug menu (and early Neku concept art!) |
Mor Menu Mostly lets you view graphics. A lot of the graphics you can view go unused, information of which can be found here |
Tak Menu This lets you test the standard in-game menus |
Fuk Menu This primarily contains tests for Tin Pin Slam and wireless features, though it also has some riskier menu tests. Use at your own risk! |
B3 - Opening and Title
It's not clear which programmer "Bul" refers to, perhaps it's a mispelling?
Unfortunately, the name is by far the most interesting thing about this menu, as it simply returns you to the title screen.
A1 - Mini108
To do: There's likely some information on what exactly Mini108 is in the Apl_Abe folder and the game's patent registrations |
This menu is named after field programmer Kouichi Abe. This simply crashes the game.
S3 - Mingle Sample
This menu is named after Tin Pin programmer Jun Sugata.
Displays the Japanese words "surechigai sample". Supposedly tests the game Mingle features. Interestingly, it's referred to as "Streetpass"...
H1 - Noise Report
Named after enemy programmer Kazuhiro Horii. This simply opens up the "Noise Report" screen, nothing too special.
S1 - Staff Roll
Named after enemy programmer Toshiaki Suyama. This just lets you view the game's ending.
