Yo

Nice job on editing the FNaF World subpage, it looks better now --Crashkandicoot (talk) 23:30, 18 September 2016 (EDT)

No probs. --Luigim1 (talk) 14:03, 20 September 2016 (EDT)

I'm so terribly sorry...

I accidentally created the FNaF: SL article while I didn't know you're constructing the article from your own profile. Again, I'm sorry. -- Gjlewis (talk) 10:45, 14 October 2016 (EDT)

Just watch out when you see that it is a Scratchpad. However luckily the Scratchpad is true on certain information. Lucky you. :) -Luigim1 (talk) 00:26, 15 October 2016 (EDT)
For what it's worth, this is precisely the reason why creating unfinished articles in user space is discouraged. We can't and don't expect users to check in case another user has the beginnings of an article in their user space, and we don't like to see duplicated effort, which is the inevitable result. So don't worry, Gjlewis, you haven't done anything wrong. — Vague / Rant 00:30, 15 October 2016 (EDT)
Oh, my bad. --Luigim1 (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2016 (EDT)

PNG Screenshots Through Steam

You can change your user settings in Steam to output PNG screenshots instead of the default JPG setting. From the main Steam window, go to Steam > Settings. In this new window, click on "In-Game" in the left-hand menu. Underneath the big "SCREENSHOT FOLDER" button, you'll see an option called "Save an uncompressed copy". Make sure this box is checked, and then click "OK". You will now get PNG screenshots instead of JPG. -Ehm (talk) 18:42, 15 October 2016 (EDT)

I already realized that a while after I uploaded the .jpg --Luigim1 (talk) 18:53, 15 October 2016 (EDT)
Can you replace the Sister Location titlescreen with a PNG then? -Ehm (talk) 19:00, 15 October 2016 (EDT)
Ok, I will. -Luigim1 (talk) 19:57, 16 October 2016 (EDT)
It should be noted you're still uploading the title screen as a JPEG. Try something like this. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 22:11, 16 October 2016 (EDT)

Unused Jingle in Nintendo Land?

So, you say that the "draw" jingle of Nintendo Land: Luigi's Ghost Mansion is unused... as a result are there two "draw" jingles in the game? And what are the differences, because I couldn't hear it clearly because of the horribly loud commentary of the gameplay video. (Plus I don't even remember what video it was) Arthur1124 (talk) 23:22, 18 November 2017 (EST)

I'm gonna say that it used. Like every other person on the site, they assume used things are unused. -Luigim1 (talk) 00:56, 13 June 2018 (EDT)

Luigi's Mansion game.toc

Hi. Could you explain the thing you said about game.toc and turara.szp in Luigi's Mansion? --Hiccup (talk) 12:41, 5 November 2018 (EST)

game.toc is basically a thing where it has a copy of directory of all files, if you try making a custom file or remove anything, game.toc will find a file is missing and crash. remove game.toc in gcrebuilder and it'll work without freezing on the nintendo screen. -Luigim1 (talk) 15:46, 5 November 2018 (EST)
It didn't crash at the Nintendo screen for me. It crashed when I entered the "load-in zone" of Cold Storage. --Hiccup (talk) 16:25, 5 November 2018 (EST)
I assume you used the DAT tool to recompile it. Since it always ignores game.toc. If you used GCRebuilder, it wouldn't exclude game.toc and would crash on boot. -Luigim1 (talk) 14:41, 5 December 2018 (EST)

Luigi's Mansion early map

Hi. You said the early map in Luigi's Mansion "seems identical to the original model, however it resembles the mansion layout from the E3 2001 demo. There is an extra room on the left side of the Balcony on the third floor". Does that mean it is the same as the final, except for that extra room? Or are the other minor edits in addition to that? --Hiccup (talk) 11:03, 20 November 2018 (EST)

"Does that mean it is the same as the final, except for that extra room?" you got it, if you could improve that sentence and leave it alone, that would be great as there isnt anything else to add -Luigim1 (talk) 11:05, 20 November 2018 (EST)
Okay. But can you explain how its like the E3 demo? Is there a piece of footage of the map in the E3 demo? Or is that room present in the actual mansion of the E3 demo? --Hiccup (talk) 13:32, 20 November 2018 (EST)
there is a door in the foyer on the right, so does the e3 demo. -Luigim1 (talk) 15:48, 20 November 2018 (EST)

Do I really have to create a video of my showing that the level saves.

Really. And plus, you having terrain, is proof that it saves. Cause when you don't have any level, it's just flat. --LilShootDawg (talk) 17:03, 23 January 2019 (EST)

ok -Luigim1 (talk) 21:37, 23 January 2019 (EST)
Actually, speaking of the terrain thing, I'll take a look at that again just to be sure I set it up correctly. -Luigim1 (talk) 10:33, 23 April 2019 (EDT)

Please refrain from editing the Minecraft Java prototype pages if you're gonna keep reverting it back to false info.

It generates like that because you're mixing and matching files - in this case, you're loading a level from a newer prototype with different terrain generation into the older prototype, which should have completely flat terrain. The MC launcher does not boot prototypes correctly (or any version of the game, by that matter, they do that so settings files and worlds can be transferred between versions) by default, you have to create a seperate game directory for each prototype in order to play them properly.

Again, as I said, I'm not sure if this is the same Luigi who owns the old hidden versions archive, but if it is, please stop this - you have already distributed fake prototypes of the game on your website, so we can't really trust you - especially if you keep adding false info. I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but please, make sure that you are running the prototypes correctly. I've asked for an admin to come take a look at this situation. -TolerableDruid6 (talk) 12:55, 23 April 2019 (EDT)

I'm not Luigi2600, and I don't host the hidden versions archive. On the topic of the prototype pages, I just want to keep things simple an organized. Also do I just run the .jar files in browser or something? -Luigim1 (talk) 09:50, 24 April 2019 (EDT)
Okay, good to know that you're not Luigi2600, I apologise if I seemed rude, just that we don't trust Luigi2600 and I thought you were them due to you being active in the MC proto community, and of course the similar username. Are you in the TCRF discord? I posted some instructions on how to run the protos properly. I would prefer that you wouldn't remove important information from the pages though, which I put there specifically to avoid confusion. It may look messy, but the pages are under major construction are are expected to look like that until they are finished. TolerableDruid6 (talk) 20:31, 24 April 2019 (EDT)
Sounds like a plan. I'll check the TCRF discord for the instructions on how to load it properly. Thanks! -Luigim1 (talk) 00:19, 25 April 2019 (EDT)

Luigi's mansion (3ds remake) Unused sequenced music.

Hi, it's MDHEXT. It seems that the sequenced music is very identical to the final music. Most of the music stored in the BCSTM format have sequenced variants located in the tataka group. I find it odd that they would be there considering that the music is already in bcstm format. The unused staffroll also has some sample changes. Is there any way to compare the samples in the sequences to the BCSTM files?

Sorry for pushing in to this conversation, but you could record the bcstm and the sequence playing through a 3DS using the SoundPlayer dev app and compare them using an audio editor. --Hiccup (talk) 06:27, 14 December 2019 (EST)
to MDHEXT, unless there was some magical way to extract samples from the streamed BCSTM, no.
to hiccup, I dont homebrew my 3ds' --Luigim1 (talk) 16:17, 15 December 2019 (EST)
